i agree that spanish lady was good in babel..i never saw dreamgirls..i think kate (forget her last name) from notes on a scandal should have won..she was real good in that.

The Oscars has sucked for the last 10 years. I've seen people put on performances that were awesome and they get snubbed out in the Oscars for some reason. Of course, I'm not in acting so I have no idea what the hell they look for but I know as a viewer the difference between an awesome performance and a good one. If I'm totally sold on the performance, then ok, I will agree, but there seems to be a lot of people who get snubbed for some reason or another.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.
