Got an e mail yesterday that went out company wide. It stated that all employees who were on direct deposit accidently had their paycheck amount debited from their account as opposed to the credit that was supposed to have been issued. It wasn't my companys fault, but the bank that they go through to do direct deposit made the mistake. Fortunately they issued a wire to all accounts that this happened to and an extra $50 to cover any NSF or bounced check fees.
Just thought I would share.

Well, that was cool of them to send the $50, but what in they cost you more than that? Of course, if they catch it the same day, it usually never does anything to your account.
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

Yeah probaly would if it did happen. I had plenty in the account as well as that overdraft protection but I'm sure there were some people you know who it did not cover but only half the cost of a bounced check.
