Back tattoo

I'm thinkin about getting something across the top of my back, but haven't decided what I want yet. I had thought about getting "Temet Nosce" in old english writing or maybe something tribal with a cool design in the middle. Any suggestions?

I would die a happy man if I went the rest of my life without seeing anymore tribal ink. It's ok if the tat is "grandfathered in," but nowadays it is simply too cliche, IMHO. I might be inclined to support your "temet nosce" idea, but you failed to offer us the meaning! Def. cooler than the tribal.

Temet nosce is latin for know thyself. It was originally from the Oracle of Delphi in Greece, along with "all things in moderation" and other tidbits of wisdom.

I'm partial to tribal, especially on bodybuilders, if its drawn along the lines of the flow of the muscle...not to into the words, maybe on a smaller scale like the arme or shoulder...but cool saying anyways

Don't know, don't care, lol! I have a tribal armband, a celtic wrist band, the Crazy Town chick on my chest, a skull with some tribal work incorporated on my delt above the armband and the seventh level symbol on my forearm with my kids initials in the the four corners of the cross. It's a pretty eclectic collection, lol!
