BACK IN 97 WHEN WE GOT MARRIED MY WIFES MOTHER GOT US A BEAUTIFUL OSTRICH EGG WITH A BEAUTIFUL DESING ON IT.IT WAS A HALF OF EGG WITH ANOTHER EGG INSIDE WITH A PAINTING OF A COUPLE GETTING MARRIED AND ITS ON A GOLD HOLDER. WELL I CRACKED IT ALL THE WAY AROUND ON THE BOTTOM AND A FEW CHIPS FELL OFF.HOW DO YOU FIX SOMETHING LIKE THAT.WHAT COULD THEY DO TO IT TO FIX IT.I HAD IT IN MY HAND AND IT HIT SOMETHING ON ACCIDENT.I SHOULD OF NEVER TOOK IT OUT OF THE CABINET. WELL THE WIFE GOT VERY EMOTIONAL AND NOW I HAVE TO FIX IT.SHE'S NOT MAD ANYMORE BUT IT HAS A VALUE TO IT TO US

Well, if you have all of the pieces you can super glue it back together. If you're not comfortable doing that yourself you could try to look up and art restoration specialist and see how much they might charge. I'm sure there are many in your area Fuzo.

Yeah, I would look into someone who deal in delicate art. Someone will specialize in that very thing, it's just going to take a lot of phone calls to find them. But, I would be willing to bet they could make it look really good when done.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

no joke you could try and find a old school clock specialist...you know the kind of shop where its an old guy tinkering with watches, clocks, coo-coo clocks, grandfather clocks and such...I've seen stuff like that in there windows so I'm guessing a guy who works on intricate stuff could repair it.Comment
