why is it, when you have a job, things are going great, everything is moving in the right dirrection, everyone and their brother wants to hire you. they throw big offers at you, wine and dine you, even go as far as sending you x-mas card!!..then, as soon as something happens, and your un-employeed, your like the gum at the bottom of a shoe??!! i would have never thaught it woulda took me this long to land a job!!! i'm really getting discouraged! anybody know what mcdonalds pay now days??

I have been there Dave for 2-3 months out of school..Couldnt fin nothing worth taking, so I decided to go back to school. But when I had a job EVERYONE wanted me to go here or there...Seems like there just saying this cause they know you cant at the time. Then when you dont have one they are like "well I will see what I can do bro" and you never here anything back...Keep at it bro, it will work out brotha!!!

I know it's a big step, but it may be a better option if your economy is that bad and getting worse, then the only thing that can happen by moving is you move up.

hey man Ill tell ya I got fired on wed for a way BS reason, and I was furious. But It helped me make the jump into a completly different field so that may end up making all the difference in the long run. Ya never know man everything happens for a reason. And **** will get better eventually

thanks guy's...things, in this biz, works in cycles, and it seems i'm about 2 weeks late for eveything!! lol. all the jobs i'd been offered has been filled with in 2 weeks of the dealership closing, and no-one wants to fire a guy after a couple weeks. i'm thinking hard about opening my own lott. i went out looking at a few locations fri. i'll keep ya posted.
T, i have thaught about it...alot, actually. but, we just got the house 75% done, and i really dont want to uproot my family again. my wife would be WAAAY out on the ideal, but i'm sure i could close her...i'm kinda just saving that as my last resort.
thanks for letting me vent a little...i dont like to rattle my wife with this sh!t, not when i know it'll all pan out...no sence in shaking her up!

had to pull this back up...2 of the dealers i was intrested in working for when i first got laidoff, gave me half-a$$ed excuses why they wouldnt hire me. 1 said they were promoting a salesman...i know this salesman. that was a joke!! the other said, they wanted to wait till the end of the first quater!!! END OF THE FIRST QUATER???!! wtf does that mean??!! your not looking to have a proffitable usedcar dept. untill later in the year?? making too much money now, are we?? stfu!
over the last week, both have been calling..i've been shooting them to voice mail. now, today i get a card in the mail from one asking me to call, and the other sent over the newcar manager to my house, with HIS cell phone, and asked to speak to me, LMFAO!!! i couldnt believe it!
welp, sorry boy's, i'm off in a different direction.

Everything happens for a reason brotha! If they would have offered you a job then, maybe you wouldn't be going in the direction you are going now. The man upstairs has got a plan, sometimes we might not understand it, but in the end it seems like he knows what he's doing.
