Computer has become so slow!

Pisses me so bad. I pay $43 something a month for high speed and it takes 10 seconds to upload FG. It takes longer and even times out on some stuff. Any suggestions or anything I can do to make this thing faster?

If servers are busy then regardless of how fast your connection is, it will take a while to load a page. Also your browser can play a role. Which browser are you using?

Mozilla Firefox I like it because I never get pop-ups. Could that be slowing me down?

You've got syware, adware, and or viruses!

Let me tell you something. I had a computer with Norton for Viruses and a firewall and a great spyware program. Those programs said that my computer was clean. I had no programs added to my computer other than what was factory, so I know it wasn't the memory being used up, and I had three icons on my desktop, so that wasn't a problem either.

I suspected I had viruses or spyware that corrupted the programs that were supposed to protect me from it. I suspected it mainly because the computer was running 10 times slower than it used to, and I hadn't added anything different that could have slowed it down. I knew enought to delete all cookies, and history on a daily basis blah blah blah.

So in a test I bought a new computer and as I suspected it wasn't the internet, it was the computer that was running slow.

I'm willing to bet your computer has stuff that has corrupted your virus, firewall, and spyware programs. I'm betting it's so embedded in your registry that it'll be nearly impossible to get rid of it all!

My advice.....By a new computer, and no playing any girly video's on it. I bet it will last much much longer with no probs.

Try going here and getting Spybot Search and Destroy. It's a free anti-spyware program that has worked wonders for me in the past.

Also, you might want to try Windows Defender - available from Microsoft at no charge.

I pay for my porn so there isnt any spam or pop-ups from that. I agree I think it is the pc though. I just dont know how to check all that stuff.

in the internet explorer go to 'tools' then to 'internet options' then under 'browsing options' click 'delete' then 'delete files' and 'delete cookies'.

i forgot to tell you you have to click out of all boards or sites your on or a pop saying something wont let you delete it. just be in the run function have nothing else up

Did I say hundreds? Ok there is thousands of files in this thing. Any easy way to delete all of them at once? I dled about 1000 so far.
