  • What is the best water purifier

I would like to get a system for the house or at least the kitchen sink....It seems as though there a lot of different systems for doing the same job.

    Does anyone have a recommendation?

It depends on whether you are on a municipal supply or a private well.
If it is a municipal supply, you want to remove the chlorine from thenwater for taste purposes. You can install a whole house system (P.O.E.) or a single faucet system (P.O.U.). If it;s just for drinking and cooking use the P.O.E. systems. This usually consists of a single filter made from carbon. This will remove the tastes from the water. I will suggest you have a second faucet installed for this type of water for drinking and cooking. That way you won't be using the filtered water for washing dishes, hands, etc. This will provide a longer filter life. Remember, if the filter is rated for so many gallons of filtered water, it will give approximately 75% of the rated capacity.
If you have a private well, there are several factors to consider,Is there iron in the water,is the water acidic or base, does the water have an unnatural taste to it, or does it have an odor? All this has to be taken into consideration when desiginig a water treatment system for a home on a private well.
After these problems are taken care of, then there can be extra steps to improve the quality of the water for your drinking and cooking purposes.
Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!

Take nothing I say as serious, What do I know, I sell water!!
