Home based businesses

Just curious if anyone here has a home based business that they do. My wife right now has a daycare, but it's stressful. The extra income is nice, but it's tearing our marriage apart. All the kids at the house, my wife gets stressed, we argue...... She needs to do another home based business. She has her associated degree in Early Childhood education, but has worked in lending before. She was an underwriter, a loan processor, and whatever else. Any ideads anyone? Please?

credit counseling for fee

independent loan officer... find a broker who will take her leads, and or get licensed in her state and broker them herself (this can be stressful)

medical transcript, she needs to type fast but can work her own schedule

can she good with her hands?? is she crafty?? if so, she can purchase raw materials and make semi precious jewelry

Is there a reason it has to be home based??? is she house bound??

The only reason we want home based is because we don't want to put our kids into daycare. I would like my wife to stay home with the kids and do nothing. However, my wife is not like that. She wants to contribute somehow financially. So she decided to open a daycare. When I come home from work, she is stressed to the max, and we argue constatntly. So this is a last ditch effort to save our marriage. Either she does something less stressful and we stop arguing, or we'll be divorced in the next 6 months.
But we both agree she stays home with the kids. That's why we want a home based business.

Yea, it's nothing new. It's becoming old hat. Thanks God I don't drink, or I would be a phuquing alcoholic after this was all said and done.

Hope everything goes right ! How many kids do u have AOM just curious ? Maybe its time for vacation and relax a bit .....just a thought

deciding on a divorce that soon..and after that small thing is a bit childish if you ask me bra.. i certanly understand what you're going thru.. but that extra income could very well.. demolish your marriage.. is it worth it.. a few extra bucks.. in the pocket or losing wife..and paying way more fees after that..

I have 2 children. And I would LOVE a vacation!! Great Idea! I'll go to Bermuda, and my wife can go to Florida!

There's more to it pally. My wife has had the daycare for over a year. So essentially, we have been at this arguing thing for over a year. And I understand where she's coming from. I'm out of the house working all day. When I come home, I want to relax. She's HOME working all day. So when I come home, she wants to go out. We have conflicting schedules. She argues that she's home to much. I argue that I'm out of the house to much. We go out on weekends. We go to the shore house, or whatever. But from her being home all day with 7-8 kids, she gets stressed. Then when they all leave the house and I come home, her stress level is still high, and I'm usually the one she takes it out on. SOOOOOO, my suggestion was, she stays home with the kids and takes them out to the park, bowling, golfing, whatever. I'm not a multimillionare. We would have to make some minor adjustments in our lives for her not to bring in an income. But we can do it. My wife, she needs to feel like she's contributing. I understand. She doesn't want to be a stay at home mom and not bring in income. So we need her to do a home based income that allows her the time to be with the kids, and bring in a few bucks.

i know exactly what your going through bro...my wife didnt work, and i busted out 65hrs a week. we had the same arguments. we put the kids in a good daycare, and she got a job. we were nevous at first. we heard all the horror stories. my kids turned out great!! they have no issues. my wife cannot stay at home, and that dont bother me. i know how you feel...my mom didnt work. my brothers wives dont work..with the exeption of my mom and dad, the rest of them are having problems...they dont get along. small issue become major problems...my wife started part time, moved to full time, and it was the difference for us, in terms of our relationship. we wouldnt have made it any other way

spywizard has a good idea with her being a loan officer, if she can find the right place she can make calls from the house and then when i loan comes up go to the office on the weekend for a few hrs to process it.

I do medical transcription/proofing of ultrasounds, echocardiograms, history and physicals, consults, etc and can pull in good money. However, with her having the small children at home with her...its gonna be very hard. I know they will need her during the daytime and it will be hard for her to work/concentrate...but could do it at night time? She could even do legal transcription I bet.
