Berettas are good gun.Originally posted by Harry Tasker View Postno one likes berretta?? I love my berettas. they never jam!!! my 92F is pretty cool. WOULD LOVE TO OWN A DESERT EAGLE BUT DONT HAVE THE SCRILL FOR THAT 44 mag
Desert Eagles are junk. Magnum research makes **** autos. I have never had a gun jam so much in my entire life I sent it back in 2x and they sent it back sayin it was fine. I ended up sellin it for 700 bucks. Never again.

Re: Getting a new Glock.
If Glock wasnt around though, I'd be jumping all over the XD45. They're backordered bigtime though. I work for a gun dealer right now.

Thats true about the Sig P229. Great gun, just a little costly compared to the glock, wish I had one.

The grip on my 21 is huge. I really liked the Kimber. my next side arm is going to be a .357 revolver. fits well, shoots far and accurate, and never jams.

Re: Getting a new Glock.
Yea, thats why I'm not buying one of those, even though I love it. Its just too heavy. I keep my G19 on my nightstand at night. I also like the fact that the Glocks are "dry" guns, very easy to maintain and keep clean unlike some others out there.
Dont get me wrong, I love 1911's and Smiths and the like, but Glocks are just as well-rounded as you can get for a carry pistol.

I agree, to each his own! but I sleep with my glock! Its an easy carry too not to bulky not to heavy. I had a P229 and hated it, way to heavy.

To each their own. Myself, I think the angle and fit that the Glock has is perfect for me, and the XD or M&P is designed a bit differently. The only other gun that I can say feels better in my hand than the glock is the Sig P229. An amazing firearm.Originally posted by Whurston View PostI own a springfield xd 40 and like it alot better than the glock 22 I shot a while back. The Glock has a "blocky" grip and too big for my hand. It also has an odd angle when I aim. THe springfield feels alot more ergonomically correct and aims straighter. Also the Glock has a 5lb trigger vs the springfield 3.5 lb.
As far as the 5lb trigger, that is very easily converted to a 3.5lb, and is usually one of the first mods glockers do.

Re: Getting a new Glock.
Not sure I agree with you 100% If your refering to competition shooting then yes something heavier and more precise is the answer. As far as pure durability Glock is the way to go...hence why almost every law enforcement agency in the US carries them.Originally posted by AlmostThere View PostBe a good gun for plinking i guess.
I can tell none of u shoot in competions. Glocks are crap absolutely the worst trigger i have ever felt.Go to an IPSIC or a combat match and u wont find one Glock in the hands of anyone good.
Cops dont buy em cause they are great most i know hate them. Once u get a little rank in local PDs they will let the officers carry what they want. Alot of Colts in those holsters followed close behind by SnW.
But I'm not a gun nut so maybe you'd know better...
