good movie. Pan is the greek god that was represented by a faun, the god of nature I believe. Very intelligent movie, great setting, and I loved the subtitles keeps the movie the way it should be. I can't stand voice overs!

Writer/director Guillermo del Toro stated that the faun is not the Greek God Pan. "Pan's Labyrinth" isn't even the real title of the movie. The original title is El Laberinto del Fauno (The Labyrinth of the Faun). The film company that produced the movie titled it Pan's Labyrinth for the U.S.
But yes, if the movie had have been in english, it would have killed the legitmacy.
