every year at the Superbowl there the Junior World Championship for American football. This year teams from
Canada (6 times winner out of 8)
US
Panama
Mexico
FRance
Germany
UK
Russia
But the tournament kinda sucks, why!
90% of the players from Canada come from Quebec, the team is funded and operated by Football Quebec, and all the coaches come from Qc too.
Also, it seems that the Canadian teams are allowed special treatments.
See, team USA is composed of players from the state where the Super Bowl is held, this year its a team from Florida. But, the NFL doesnt allow team USA to have any players who are playing university level. The tournament is a MU20, so for the US team is a team composed of High School senior!
Now, team Canada are loaded with university players playing either in the CIAU or NCAA levels, so this bring up the level of play.
and I could go on....
I used to have an average of 5 players a year on that team,
some of my DL like Hillaire now plays at Buffalo and Francis at PSU
Maybe they want the sport to get bigger. Maybe the NFL wants a couple franchises in Canada like they do Baseball. You just never know.
They want the NFL, Montreal and Toronto are already in the process of getting one, but the CFL and NFL are together now and they dont want to hurt the cfl league by bringing the nfl.
