I dont think bush controls the media but what he does do is have a very close relationship to the big businesses that run the media. the big businesses are in his pocket and he is in theirs. I dont think that they would hide that Bush is so unliked all you have to do is step out side and find tons of people that are protesting but what they will hide are the big things, 9/11, terrorist, and things like that they will only show one side. To find out other sides to the stories you have to go outside of the country or go to sites that some information might be true while the other is just conspiracy types of stuff.

Great great point! That's exactly my view about his "Control" of the media. I don't think he controls every word. But I bet he keeps the big things quited down. People forget bush is tied in with big business, so all he has to do is say the word and he gets what he wants. I'd rep ya Merc if I could!
Everyone elses points were good too.
The Bigmikey / Tmann debate is interesting because both sides have a ring of truth to them. This is very interesting in deed!
i dont think bush controls the media-- Fox news just supports him..another good movie for you is outfoxed..it explains how the news stations are lead in certain directions and edtied based on agendas.
Goin to Iran is inevitable--were up isreal/zionists asses and vis versa-we want them as the lone middle eastern major power..Ithink Syria is first though.
depends on which side u are talking about? most of lebanese are christians and now iran and syria wants to make lebanon a muslim country and its not gonna happen...christian lebanese are willin to bomb themselves(and take their enemies wt em) and not to wear the turban means the scarf around their faces....
Wow! I did not know that bro! I will be praying for them. Thanks for educating me on that bro. I really thought that Christianity was outlawed in most of the Middle East. So, there is hope after all. Who does the Lebanese government support? Are they Muslim, Christian or both?
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.
That's just another fine example of how Bush and his administration control the media. I wonder what other things he's covered up??? ===cough===9/11===cough===
But his administration didn't cover it up, they were exposed.
On a side not - damn I can't stand McCain! That guy is ready to make everything the business of the government.
bush bush bush, i hate him..and not going into this debate..
he ignored 9/11, new orlean, ect.......
he does cover up a lot of stuff at the american people(not saying the truth), which i feel bad for em, coz they believe what they see and hear ONLY....
..
and i know its out of the subject, but he needs to leave iran alone, and i hope he does NOT fuel the fire with more fuel..
he is doing the biggest mistake ever in his entire life by sending more troops to iraq or and to fight iran, and he is so stupid not knowing that iran is way smarter than bush.....
look what surrounds iraq??? iran and syria..<---------hint..
iraq falls in between iran and syria(surrounded by both sides)...which means they could have the biggest massacre to the us troops if something has to happend.......
Iran and Syria are of no significant threat to the U.S., even while the U.S. is in Iraq. Unlike the insurgence, Iraq and Syria are states and have vulnerable assets, e.g., military bases, missile silos, energy plants, government buildings, water treatment plants, bridges, airports, etc. If America launched an offensive on Iran and/or Syria, I guarantee they would not try to rebuild the government like they are attempting in Iraq. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad would just be woke up one morning (well, unless he was targeted) with the information that his military has been completely incapacitated.

Yes they covered up what the media releases to the public about 9/11 and the twin towers. They claim they pulled half of the stuff off of the air because they didn't want to hurt peoples feelings. That is the lamest excuse I've ever heard in my life. The problem was that so many of those reports poked holes in their new 9/11 report. It poked holes in what the government calls fact. So they tried to find anyway to hush the media, and brainwash the american public to believe what they wanted them to believe.
Meanwhile thanks to the internet you can readily watch many of these reports still. It's funny how some well known reporters in interviews that were banned from air talk about the multiple demolition style explosions that went off, the lava like fire pouring out of the building etc etc.
Now they've all been silenced! Where's our free speach? I thought free speach was a basic principle of this country! I didn't know there was a clause that said free speach unless it hurts others feelings!

I don't think Iran or Syria will match us militarily. But I'm willing to be we'd see many suicide bombers appear in the U.S. It's just my guess. I don't see any other way that Iran or Syria could truly be a threat to our country.
I saw a good show on tv. called "Iran the next Iraq". Discusses alot of these issues. Sure iran/syria can threaten suicide bombers in US and stir up more stuff in Iraq but i doubt the leaders of those countries want to be living in the stone ages. If Iran ever attempted to fire a nuclear weapon at the US, after it splashed down half way here they would have wished the didnt do it in about 5 min.
