Looks like the Republicans are getting a taste of their own medicine. For 12 years they ignored and shunned Democrats when it came to the political process. They abused their power and Democrats just asked for an equal say in things.
Now the tables have turned and the Republicans are whining that they are getting shunned just like they did to the Democrats.
Haven't these people ever heard of "Do onto others, as you would want them to do onto you!?"
I'm glad their getting a taste of their own medecine!
they all suck!! why cant just some regular joe win an office!! most of them are all lawyers and "professional politicians" and if a regular joe won....they'd politicaly castrate him....there's no hope for it.
HE WHO MAKES A BEAST OF HIMSELF, GET'S RID OF THE PAIN OF BEING A MAN!!
In my opinion I can't stand either, but I see more eye to eye with Democrats beliefs. Quite honestly I'd rather vote for an Independent but unfortunately it would be a wasted vote, because noone else would vote for an Independent.

now, that's something you and i can totally agree on 100%

GREAT! So here's the deal......We both make it a mission to convince as many people as we can to vote for an independent this time. Then tell all the people we convince that they also have to convince people, and the chain will continue. Then maybe we can shock the system with an Independent as our president!
the establishment has made itextremely hard for a third party to join the presidential debates after perot.. If Ron Paul wasnt running/ doesnt get past the primary- then im voting for an independent also

huh..if every independant voter who has said that, would actually vote independant, they might have something!! i've had to hear that a million times.

Your right! That's why we need to change it this time around. I'm not going to force my opinion down anyone's throats.....But if your tired of the same ol corruption I say everyone should vote independent this time around.
Send a real message to congress! Let both Democrats and Republicans know who really holds the power! THE PEOPLE!
Seriously if your sick of the same crap, and bills not getting passed we need to shake things up! Tell everyone you know! Let's get this ball rolling!

The whole wasted vote argument is crap. Look what the Green parties very small success in 2000 did to the Dems in 2004. The third parties don't have to win to get their ideas noticed. Politicians are more chameleons than they are representatives these days. A third party just needs to be slightly successful for the dems and/or republicans to emmulate them. I don't care if a Libertarian gets into office or not, as long as they are successful enough for one of the major parties to notice and start trying to capture that vote - that's good enough for me. Similar to what John Kerry did in trying to capture the green party voters. As long as you vote for the major parties your telling them, your doing good enough for my vote - you start voting 3rd party (along with a small percentage of others) and the major parties will start analyzing why to see if they can get those voters....
