Lets see if anyone here knows how to do this...
I just got a ps2 slim and I have a wireless internet conection... I just have a linkseye thing hooked up to the back of my computer and I get a signal from my roommate, so how do I get the signal to my ps2? I dont mind running cords, I just want the least expensive way. Any help would be appreciated.

you have to run a ethernet cord from the router to the ps2 basically the fact that you have wireless means nothing hope this helps

If you don't mind wires running through the house, then the cheapes way is to do that. But, if you want it clean, then you need a wireless gaming adapter. Linksys makes one that is A/G and will also work with B routers too. My router is B and I like it better than G. G is faster, but the range is shorter than B. N is the best (i think) but it's expensive and I would have to replace every wireless component I have just to work with it. So, no thanks. lol

Go to BestBuy and get the Linksys Gaming Adapter. The one that is $80 is every bit as good as the one that is $100. If by chance your roommate has an "A" router then deffinately get the A/G Gaming Adapter because it specially designed to move pictures faster and will make online gaming smoother. However, I have no probs with my system. I like in an older house that is built very solid and my "B" router is in the basement. We have the Gaming Adapter and a Wireless receiver on my wife's pc at two different ends of the upper floor and the signal is great.

Me personally, I would make it look clean because if you run a wire and you accidentally chew it up with the vaccum, then you have to go buy another long ass wire. But, that's me.
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.
