Sure but you would need to get a wireless adapter for it. I'm sure they would make one cause they have one for the original xbox. If they don't have one just plug a hardline into your wireless router, and run it under your carpet.

Yep, that's what I use. You need a wireless Game Adapter. It basically takes the wireless signal and converts it to wired so you can plug it into the back of the PS2. It's awesome man! My network is all Linksys and the A/G adapter is like $80 at Bestbuy. It's much cheaper than trying to have someone run a wire through the house to the plase where your PS2 is. Also, when you move, you are already set to go. I have my wireless network encrypted with a 128 bit encryption also. It's something you just set up when you start it. That way, if someone where in range of your network, they would have to know the encryption key to access it. It's 32 alpha/numeric digits.

Check on ebay for stuff brody. I bet you'll get some killer deals their. But make sure they have good feedback before you buy from them.

Also blockbuster usually has some decent deals. With the PS3 coming out stuff will probably clearance out pretty soon.

^^ Believe it or not, I took my old bulky PS2 to this game exchange place and they actually gave me $60 credit towards a the new Slim. The Slim was only $129 and so I got it for $70. I looked on line and it would have cost me about $60 just to get a used PS2 network adapter. So now, I have all brand new stuff with new warranties for the same price it would have costs to have all used stuff. Yep, deals on PS2's are great right now.

so if i have a ps2 (regular one) with nothing done to it, give me a list of things i need to buy in order to get online with a wireless internet service so i know exactly what to get please.

- and yea ill probobly check ebay... my friends call me an ebay ***** cause i use it for everything lol. actually just bought a brand new 300$ radar detector for only 90$ shipped from there. gotta love ebay.

Actually Tmann's got a great point. Maybe you should trade in your old PS2 to buy a slim one. Then the modem will be built in. All you'll need then is the wireless adapter which you could get on ebay.

I don't think so, the one I got is pretty new. But, maybe. I just wouldn't buy used because it may not have the disk or something. But, that's me. I do buy somethings used, but some things I don't. LOL

You MUST have the internet setup disk for the PS2 to configure to the internet. It doesn't matter if it's a new PS2 or the old one, you need the disk to configure your system to your network. Without it, you will have to go buy a new one.
