same here!! happens every x-mas. we start early to try to get it done early, and we just end up buying more stuff!!! i told my wife, next year we start x-mas shopping at 12pm x-mas eve....that should bring it down a little! lolHE WHO MAKES A BEAST OF HIMSELF, GET'S RID OF THE PAIN OF BEING A MAN!!

Man, you think you got it bad, my son is an only child and the only grand child so far. AND, his birthday is December 22nd. So, that little **** got more crap and I know what to do with. We are in the same boat as you, maybe worse. LOL
Here's what we do:
So far we havent' thrown any of his toys away and he's four. We buy those huge storage bins (get them at Big Lots because they cost about half the price) and we put all his old toys and old clothes (the stuff in good condition) and we store it in this shed that is built off of our garage (the only access is through the garage). But, you can store them in a crawl space, the attic, all kinds of places. The stack well and are easier to move around than boxes. So far, we have been successful for four years doing it this way. It sucks to keep having to buymore bins, but like I said, get them from Big Lots and they are much cheaper.
Or, you can take stuff she doesn't play with and donate it to the Salvation Army so some parent with limited funds can get a slightly used toy for really cheap.
Good luck! If you are anything like me, you don't want to throw it away because of the possible next child. Which we are trying for now. If it's a boy, we got most things covered. If it's not, I have no idea what we will do, probably give it away or have a garage sale or something.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

I can understand where you are coming from. Daughters tend to have that affect on their Daddy.
