    Re: Arnold broke his leg

Yep, I just double checked it and the sell of aas without a prescription was NOT illegal at all until 1988. That's 8 years after his bbing career ended. Also, if you look at his movies around the late 1980's Red Heat, Twins, etc., he was getting significantly smaller. Therefore he was obviously not using at that time. There is not way in hell someone could convice me he was using during Twins if you compare that physic to the one just 3 years earlier in Red Sonjia. He had obvious quit use prior to them becoming illegal.

Look, he says he supports bodybuilding and then sets up the athletes to be served subpeonas and search warrants on at his own show? If he cares so much about the athletes then be the bigger man and just walk away if you don't want to be associated with AAS. BUT....there's a buck to be made here. I just think it's hipocritical to get where you are via AAS and then say "don't do steroids". Does he think kids are stupid? That they don't know he used them? Would it not have been better to say "look, if used sanely and correctly and with proper bloodwork and such steroids are not the evil killer the public thinks they are?" In a position like his where he could have made a positive spin possible on the subject he tucked his tail between his legs and went the "drugs are bad" route like Nancy Regan "just say no".
You may not recognize your mom when you get home, I shaved her back.

I don't have an ego, i just love how awesome i am !!

Yeah, the part about setting up bbers is total BS. That's phuked up for sure. And yes, kids aren't stupid, they know he got to where he is by using. However, the big point is, and I've proven it, they are illegal now and weren't when he used them. That's a huge difference bro. So, I can't say that I would agree for one second that he should advise anyone to use anything illegal. Especially when every sport, but bbing and basketball, has a policy against performance enhancement drugs. Why encourage people to do things are would get them banned or kicked out of their respected sports? That makes ne sense 'to me' at all bro. It also makes no sense (to me) to tell someone to do something illegal if they do it smart. It's like saying to college kids 'hey, use cocain so you can stay up longer to study, but do it in a smart way". The reality is, there is no 'smart' way to do illegal drugs. Once you step into the rehlm you are breaking the law and could suffer serious consquences. So, to suggest in any way that someone should take those risks is just not something I would ever agree with. Especially to suggest he should say such a thing publicly. And just to set the record straight, yes, I use aas from time to time but I don't go around telling people 'they' should. If someone says to me they are going to use them and there's no way of talking them out of it, I will advise them of the things that have worked and things that should be done (blood work, pct, etc) but I would never in a million years just go around suggesting to people that taking them is a good thing. Because, when all the smoke settles, it's not a good thing becuase it is illegal. Nothing illegal is good.

Look, this is just my opinion on things. I accept full responsibility for 'my' actions but I couldn't live with myself if I went aroudn telling people to do illegal drugs and they ended up in prison or dead because they got their hands on bad stuff or took it wrong or it turned out they had some unknown liver or kidney condition that the aas took advantage of. Could you? Seriously, could you live with yourself if you told someone it was ok to do aas and they ended up in prison or dead? I couldn't and I doubt Arnold could either. You have to think about what you are saying. You are saying that Arnold should publicly promote steriod use. I think someone would have to be a little jacked up in the head to publicly tell people "hey, I used steriods to get where I am and you should to, just be smart about it." That to me, would be the dumbest thing he could ever say if he wanted to keep his career going. Hell, look at Ronnie Coleman, that dudes still publicly claims he's natural. I've seen him at guest poses and after his routine he says the same thank you Jesus speach and how he's so blessed he could do it naturally. Do you think he should just tell people he uses? Because admittence to current drug use is enough to get his house searched. Trust me, I know. Back in my wild days I used to bounce and we got a little ripped on some GHB (when it was legal) and one of the dudes told one of the cops that was working that night he uses drugs all the time. Two days later his house was searched via a warrant. Public admittence of any drug use or support of drug use is just not smart. IMO

You are free to believe what you want and I whole heartedly respect your opinion. I just don't happen to agree on this one. No biggie, just a difference of views on things.

thanks for that copy and paste that was great . as they were a class 3 drug , he was right behind and supported the deciciosn of changing the way they penalized people , the way they counted "units" b4 itwas 100 oral pill one unit , now its 1 pill one unit , and so on.

also , just cuase he wasnt competing any more , dont mean he wasnt taking **** , he was still jacked up mofo when he was doing movies , u can say he was getting siginificant smaller , and was not using , i know better.

obvioulsy , the guy must be ur childhood hero , or whatever and trying to stick up for him , thats ur opinion ,this is mine.... i dont think neither of our opinions will change on this matter.

Actually, he's not my hero, not even close. I just don't think he used that far after competing. But, like you said, that's my opinion. He got a lot smaller and if he was using he should (IMO) have maintained more mass than he did. He wasn't like today's bbers where he was on year round. He used to gain weight for the Olympia. We was like 206 off season (I can't remember for sure) and then he would come to the show in the 220's. I remeber a few guys would do that too, they would gain for the show. Anyways, it jsut looks like he lost way too much mass to have still been on. Just look at his size in Twins (1988) versus Red Sonja (1985). He looks like he lost 15 pounds of muscle, maybe more. I woudl imagine if he was still using he would maintained more. I've taken breaks off aas use for over tow years and lost only 5 pounds. So, if my genetically inferior butt can hold my weight pretty good while off and he's losing mass, I just can't believe he would still be on. But that's me.
