Anyone ever been? I got an opportunity to go next week and just wanted to hear some personal experiences. It looks fun as hell, I cant imagine the adrenalin rush you get.
The jump is from 14,000 FT. @ 130-160 MPH.

THAT FIRST STEP IS THE KILLER! NOW WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO JUMP OUT OF A PERFECTLY GOOD AIRPLANE?

It is a rush.
I've done 3 jumps. I have done the tandem jump from 13,000 feet.
I have also done a static line jump from a C-130 and I 've done a solo jump.
The solo was the best. Just make sure you have the crotch straps in the right place before you jump. The jolt from opening the chute can be kinda hard
Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!
Take nothing I say as serious, What do I know, I sell water!!

My dad is a pilot and I was airborne qualified when I was in the Army so I got to hear that from him all the time. I think without a doubt it is one of the biggest rushes there is. I can't think of anything that comes close, even bungee jumping.
Best experience I've had in a long time...we jumped from 17,500ft. 73 seconds of free fall and 4.5 minutes in the canopy for the ride back down to earth. We were tracking, doing flat spins, and barrell rolls once the shute was deployed. The only way you could tell you were moving was the force and sound of the wind blowin' past your face. Looking forward to going MANY more times in the near future.
you will always remember the first jump and when you hit the ground you will feel the rush hit like you have never before.
where might you be jumping?
I am going down here in Bama' about 45. min from where I live.
My appointment is at 1:00 on Sat.

I told the guy that set up my appointment that I wanted someone crazy to jump with so that we can do barrel rolls out of the plane and all the other cool shiot that they do.
I'm so fired up I could hardly sleep last night. I had my ceiling fan on high and it was blowing in my face and woke up from having a dream about skydiving. LOL

Well Sat. I bucked up and went for the first time. It was an absolutely incredible experience. I will def. be doing it again. We jumped from 14,500 FT. and free fell for about 65 seconds. Under canopy it took us about 7 minutes to reach the ground. By far the biggest rush that I have ever gotten from anything in my entire life.

Absolutely correct brother. Can't even describe to people how much of a rush it felt like.

Did you shit yourself? I know if it were me, there would be a trail of brown liquid following me to the ground. People watching below think I was one of those entertainers with a brown smoke pack on my back.
