I need to usually drink coffee in order to work out. Strange thing is I'm ADHD so I used to be super hyper and I wouldn't need anything to work out. I don't know what's been up with me lately.....

Thanks everyone for keeping serious. I'll be giving a round of reps to everyone.
Damn bro, is work stressing you out or anything? It sounds like you are just getting down. If you aren't in the mood for sex, your getting tired alot and you aren't getting excited to workout, then you might be getting down. It's nothing to be ashamed of. I went through it and went to the doc and took this written test and she said that I was mildly depressed. So shed gave em a script for the lowest dose possible and I took it for 6 weeks. About 10 days in I felt like my old self. I was back to normal. At the end of the 6 weeks, I ramped down by taking 1/2 pill for the last couple weeks. Now, if I start to feel a little down and it lasts more than a day or two then I take 5 HTP at 100 mg ED. As long as your 'down' feelings are very mild then 5 HTP works great. It's just like the drugs but it's OTC. It helps the brain to stabilize your Seritonin levels, which is your feel good hormone. You ever met anyone on extacy before? You know how they just love everyone and everything? That's because it causes a flood of seratonin. This is also why that drug is soooooo dangerous becuase it can permanently damage the body's ability to produce it.

Anyways, go get some 5 HTP for now. If you still feel less than normal, go see a doc when you get insurance. I can tell you from experience, the 5 HTP makes me feel like a normal person. I actually need to get some more with winter coming around. Winter bumbs me out sometimes.

Oh, you might also want to get some Acetyl L-Carnitine and Co Q-10, those are top notch for natural energy. I've got a whole long explanation as to why, but I don't have the time to type it all up. I've got a book on what these two supps can do and it's unbelieveable. They help with sleep, energy, recovery, the list goes on.

If you want to get supps, go to www.herbal-provider.com they have the best prices if you buy the large bottles. I think I paid about 40% of what it would have cost me in the stores.

        Re: Serious question???

It's not an uncommon problem. Thankfully, My Mr. Belevedere can still serve well. But it's not uncommon at all. There's a million different possibilities, so to even guess on here would be tough. However, a few very common problems with A sexuality are:
        1) Trauma in a childhood occurrence. A rape, or a sexual molestation. In a case like that, no medication will help. Only a psycholigist.
        2) Low testosterone. Can happen in people at any age. So 27 is not to young
I'm not joking in the least little bit. But I think the first route would be go talk to a penis doctor and go from there. Then, maybe see a shrink to see if you have some sort of repressed memory of a childhood event. Good luck with Mr Winky

As I feel the dutasteride is really combating hair loss, I really don't want to nix it at this point. I've generally been feeling run down and my sex drive has definitely taken a hit. I've tried all the herbal concoctions (tribulus, maca, horny goat weed, avena sativa, ginseng, etc). None of them seem to do anything. I'm going to give Dostinex (Cabergoline) a shot as it's purported to increase libido. I'll let you know it goes.
That is a common effect of that medication. yes dihydroxytestosterone is implicsted in male pattern baldness but dht is pretty important to sexual function ,as well as strength it is thought. 5-alpha reductase inhibitors stop the conversion of testosterone to dht. im considering using myself and already have some finasteride but am a bit unsure as to whether to use it, ive still got plenty of hair but have noticed some receding, im 31.

            Re: Serious question???

First you have to distinguish if it is a physiological, psychological or a combination of both. Do you have undo stress?? Lack of sleep, improper eating habits? Have you self examined your testes? Do you have atrophy? You say you are not taking meds, so i will rule that out, but are you on no meds for ADHD? Trib is not FDA aproved and i personally don't really think it ups you test levels. If you can not afford testing because of lack of insurance, i would first self evaluate if i do have a slight depression going on (only you really know this). If you feel there is nothing going on in your life that warrants it, then i would consider hcg treatment as a first option, then after about a month if you do not see improvement add some proviron to it. I have a feeling your test levels may be on the low side because you also say you are feeling fatigue. Also, make sure you are eating balanced meals, adding zinc, selinum, mag, and alot of vit-c. Get a very good multi vit as well. Getting a full nights sleep is very important as well. Sometimes you have to stay on hcg for several months or more to see results. If you do a search here i uploaded the dosaging for Pregnyl hcg for atrophy in adult males. I would give the hcg a good 3 months it can be used up to 6 months. If all fails you might need trt. You might want to also try Planned Parent Hood in your area and tell them you want to find out if they do testing for males. Tell them you and the wife are trying to conceive and they might do the testosterone and sperm testing free.

I knew that going in, having used finasteride with the same side effects in the past. I thought that going every other day with the dutasteride would lessen the sides, but I've come to the realization that even that isn't working. I don't have any functional ED type problems, it's just that my libido is pretty much nonexistent at this point. It sucks, because like DJ, I too am in my twenties.

What a quandry, use these drugs, keep your hair, and lose your sex drive or don't use them, have a decent sex drive, and potentially go bald. I'm hoping the Dostinex I'm going to try will work...

                    Re: Serious question???

You're posts, and the things you are honest about would seem like DEPRESSION.

ADHD, if I remember correctly, a year or so ago were'nt you starting a new business, and also, no health insurance

High Stress leads too High Cortisol. The High Cortisol supresses you're natural testosternone, and thus you slowly slowly slowly drift lower.

This is the bodies natural reaction to protecting itself. The mind, especially ADHD one, can go into overdrive and nevah evah stop. That high stress destroys the body, so too stop the brain from destroying the body, ie, good old BODY HEAL THYSELF, it pumps up the cortisol.

This slows you down so that you're are physically forced to rest and re-evaluate.

Know it is tough, yet, this is profesional level stuff, find a good one who has skills in this area. Meds do work wonders, and then help with the internal stuff you've been struggling with.

Good Luck, not an easy road, a good one in the long run, the worst in the short run

Yeah business is like a rollercoaster! High low high low. Plus I started a franchise of my business up north and that's been nuts. I've got a major lawsuit going on with my truck against the manufacturer, meanwhile some ***** repeatedly slammed her car into my truck and now I'm fighting the insurance company on that, my wife is pregnant, Homeowners and property taxes are getting absolutely out of control, Every single possible thing I buy ends up being a lemon or broken so I have to fight those companies, I think I have Hypoglycemia, I have no health insurance, After 5 different eye docs I can't get contacts that actually fit and I'm just about to blow up!

But really not much stressing me out! HAHAHA!

I so want health insurance to get my problems taken care of, but the policies for the self employed are anything but stellar. Plus everytime I go to get insurance some other major expense gets in the way. It's a vicious never ending cycle!
