I used to manage a restaurant in ATL called Bertuccis Brick Oven Pizzaria. It has totally screwed me up for life. The pizza was so damn good than I pretty much hate all other pizza. Seriously, since then I have found one place that makes a decent brick oven pizza but they ruin it by putting on cheap frozen toppings. The place I managed we used fresh toppings. All the veggies were cut fresh every day. We made the dough fresh, we used chunks of real italian sausage and real chicken breast. None of this diced crap or processed crap. That place rocked! Then, it got bought out by New England Food and Beverage Company and I left. The owner, who built the entire thing from one restaurant to 86, couldn't compete with the offer from NE F&B Co. This is what happend when you take your company public, you are always at risk of being bought out. The owner and head chef were both from northern Italy and every pizza, pasta, panini, desert, everything was as authentic as you could get. I don't think I'll ever find a decent pizza again. Especially because I live in Colorado! Good God, these guys open of these NY style pizza joints and they suck! If this is what NY style pizza is supposed to taste like, then it sucks. Goes great as a calzone too, just leave out the damn Ricotta cheese. I hate that stuff. i have to many favorits to list it just depends on the day and my mood but my fav place is called new york pizzaria it's owned by a couple of italian guy the pizzas are huge and so cheapComment

We have Bertucci's around our way .I still havnt tried it. yeah Pizza John makes all there toppings fresh my brother was gonna work done there to see where they get there toppings from so we could open out own little shop ....lol and there pepperoni curls up wit perfection and its not brick oven .They only have one shop and everyone goes there for subs n pizza thats smart but they should expand it a bit .Its like 1/2 hour drive but definitely worth it .Originally posted by T-Man007 View Post"Workout each rep till I drop the uglyiest , meanest face"Comment

You should, out of the 86 stores there were only 6 in ATL. Most were in the northeast. You need to try it bro. Well, I don't know now though, we are talking about 1995 when they got bought out so thats over 10 years of not having the owner and head chef to create the meals. I'm sure they've taken a dive in an attempt to make more money. Because we used so many good quality products we didn't actually make a lot of money. Not like Pizza Hut would with their cheap frozen ingredients and all.
