Sweet I could put my DVD burner to use then. How fast is your upload? My upload would take about two days to get 4.3 gigs transfered. (25 kb/s) I should upgrade back up to 1 Meg SDSL since I have moved from divx to dvd iso files.
hey username, i can't find the firewall setting, i have a network bridge icon, a LAN connection icon, and an internet connection icon, which one do i click on?
EQL - go here http://www.bpftpserver.com/ and download bftp server. Install in, then I'll PM you the reg key later. It is the best FTP server for windows barring IIS.
The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.
Also - can your router be managed from the public side? If it can, I'll set it up for you.

ok it says my IP is "FTP Server On-line : IP(s) 192.168.1.102, on port 21" and the ports in PASV mode are 1024 to 65535. What now? i enabled PASV mode and put this is addy for the fixed IP 24.27.224.160

You need to open port 21 on your router and forward it to your computers IP, 192.168.1.102 on port 21. It is probably web based management. So in your browser type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
