Now onto the black organizations. Everyone seems to hate the fact that blacks and other minority groups have organizations to promote certain industries. Lets go back to 1865. Slavery is abolished. Blacks are sent out to live on their own. 99% of them never learned to read or write. Now they are free so they want to learn to read an write. Well they aren't allowed to attend the pre-established schools because they are black. So what would you do in that case? You create a Univeristy for you and your people since the other people don't want you in their universities. Because of the lack of funding, then you start to develop scholarships and other organizations to support your race!!!! Desegredation of schools restaurants and everything didn't occur until 1960, which was just the start. I'm sure some of you were probably born around then so it wasn't as far back as every one makes it seem. In 1960 blacks were still getting llynched and murdered. Nothing really changed even though the Civil Rights Act was passed and thats why there was the emergence of the Black Panthers. Anyways I'm not trying to teach you guys history, if you didn't pay attention to black history month because you are pissed off that blacks have a month then that is your hard headed problem. So the point I was trying to make is the organizations were developed to encourage blacks to go to school and to achieve. Anyways now days there are scholarships for everybody. If you are Italian, polish, German, what ever nationality or even if you have a dissability there is a scholarship for that person. So if you are saying blacks can't have something then take away every single scholarship and organization that represents a race or nationality.

supasaiyan99, Let's not go back to 1865.. But instead move forward.. I'm not saying in the least that we should ever forget the past. But more.. Learn from the mistakes.. Take the good and run with it.. Do not repeat the bad.

Please don't take this the wrong way.. But what a load of crap. If the school doesn't allow a certain race in the school because of just being that race.. You change that school! You don't start a new one that is exactly the same as the one that won't let you in due to a person's race.
But that is what it has come to.. And It is sad. All your doing is propagating segregation. That's not moving forward.. It's moving us back to the 60's.. I say 60's cause that is as far back as I personally can remember seeing myself.. not in any book.. myself.

I don't use the N word and when others do I ask them not to.. If they do it in front of my children I will get indignant with them.. Beit white black grean blue.. I could care less what color your skin is.

Now as for Richards and comparing them to Chris rock and such.. Apparently your just taking the fact that he said the N word and your running with it..
That is so wrong.. Not that I condone this, but he may have even gotten away with it fi he was using the word in a joke.
But that's not what the dipshit did. Listen to the the tirate again. You'll see that he was trying to defame, demoralize these guys. Talking about hanging from trees and shit like that.. That was a very bad time in history and to use it as an attempt to verbally hurt someone.. You won't see Chris rock doing that shit.. Richards was targeting individual people..

I agree with you. One thing that keeps us from moving forward is bringing up the past.

You are absolutely right about the tirade. I didn't get offended by him using the N word. It was the reference to hanging that offended me. By him referencing that, you can see how he truely feels inside. The way I look at it though, it's better now that his views are out of the closet instead of staying hidden.
