Word it's a dem from NY. I think his name is Bangel or something like that. He is using the BS reasoning that if they re-instate the DRAFT, then presidents will think twice before invading countries under false pretenses like Bush did in Iraq. I think it's BS. I doubt they will actually do it.

of course. but this is not the case. this whole talk about the draft is bogus. notice charlie rangle is doing this before the 2008 election just like he did before the 2004 election? its a well planned attack on republicans. now when the election comes democrats can say theres a bill being passed around that will reinstate the draft, and if you vote republican your going to war. this is exactly what happened last election, and people belived it.if I had a dollar for everytime someone said, "I hope your ready to go to war" after bush won re-election, id be pretty well off right now. mark my words, this is going to happen again and VveTTe917 has already fallen for there tricks.

No Im not falling for any 'tricks'. I know it's not gonna happen, it got voted out 402-2 back in 2003 and the lawmakers won't buy it again. I just think it's rediculous to stir things up with a Draft idea, almost the whole country is against this war and they wanna put these thoughts into peoples heads just to annoy us even more about this senseless war. That or just to get attenton. The republican out of Arizona, forgot his name at the moment, that is going to run for the 2008 presidential race totally agrees with the Draft as well, does he expect to win, do we want another Bush?
