Im in the market for a new watch. I've had my share of Fossil watches from when I was younger to a Stars and Stripes Citizen to a knock off Rolex (even my well off buddy that had a real one couldnt tell the differnce) and a Tag. Im wanting something that is affordable and not a knock off. Im just going to face the fact that I cant afford a Rolex right now. Haha. Anyone recommend a site or certain brand they prefer? I found this one and really like the way it looks, price is great too.

I want a watch bad ! Too bad its $2800 watch Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra is sharp equisite lookin ! Automatic .I dont know about ordering from a website unless they are authorized dealers bunch of fakes floating around and dont give warranty's .Try lookin for jewelry shows around your area they have wholesale prices on some nice watches .The stores mark up 50% so you can try negotiating wt but they wont really give u too much off .My uncle fixes jewelry and he goes to them shows there is a fee but def worth it!"Workout each rep till I drop the uglyiest , meanest face" -

I just bought this watch, waiting for it to come in the mail, I love it. Retail value is $650, got it on Ebay for $320.
Bulova is a very good make too.

I've got a Guess Collection watch that was $85.00 and it looks better than similarly styled watches that were literally 10 times the price. Everyone always comments about it, and it looks very very expensive. That's the great part. Looks expensive but definitely is not. It even came with a diamond in it. Pretty cool!Comment

I have a Panerai Luminor 90 Power ReserverAutomatic with Date. It runs a swiss 7750 with sopras modification for the power reserve. its a sweet watch. I'm a watch collector, so this is a subject I like talking about.
IWC makes nice watches, so does Rado. This is in the 800-1800 range.
What's your price range? You really should look into high end replicas. I could show you a few you'd never know were fakes. These are complete automatic swiss movement watches, not quartz. These are real ETA 6497 and 6498 wind movements.
I'm currently working on Marine Militare Hommage watch, its using an old 1953 Cortebert 692 15 Jewel movement I sourced from a guy in Portugal. I have a guy in Germany making me the crystal and hands. I have a guy in Japan making me the dial. Quite an expensive project. I'm actually putting this watch together for my Dad.

Thanks for the replies. Right now I'd only like to spend $300 tops. Im about to start working in the oil fields here at about 80 hrs a week and 65k a year. After a few months of that, I'll but a nice watch.
Oh and yes Fit that Panerai PR w/Date 90 Leather from a WW2 Train Seat 24mm is pretty damn nice.Comment

real watches not acquired from authorized dealers... i got a 2500$ tag for 1100$ and the serial numbers were buffed off due to it not being authorized... but you can faintly see the serial numbers still. i have seen tons of fake tags and this is definitely a real one... they dont even fake this model.I'm Just an old chunk of Coal, But I'm gonna be a DIAMOND some day.
