It seems this is a common injury among people who seriously work out...Ive done somethin to my lower back... its right in the center of the very low back. I have pain and stiffness there often...what can i do to help this out cause ive not been able to Deadlift, Squat, T-bar row or Barbell Row. I cant make it to a Dr. or Chiropracter right now
Im gonna get so big I cant dress myself

      Re: Back pain/stiffness

well Ive been told its musculoskeletal so i dont think its a disc exactly...All i know is its stiff, it hurts if i stand for long periods, hurts if i sit for long periods. I can stretch it but due to the stifness it hurts...I cant afford to see a Dr. right now..So should I just rely on Ibprofuen and Ice and Heat along with stretching. It feels good when i stretch it but its hard to find a way to stretch just the lower back

If it is a disk problem then thats not good i know this. lay on your belly and have someone press down easy but firmly on your tail bone this will open up the disks in your lower back.If its just a pull then the only thing you can really do is RICE i noticed your in gainesville me too.
