    Anyone else have one of these?

    I've got one and I've had it for about 6 months and I want to upgrade the maps. However, I was wondering if anyone else that has one has been through map upgrade process and how it works.

    Well I have Garmin, but I haven't updated any maps yet. But aren't you supposed to plug it into the computer? Then the directions tell you what to do I believe.

              I bought the Magellan 800. It's pretty cool. It automatically updates through the sattelite. No upgrades or updates needed! Cheap phuquers. Go high tech!!

                  Yeah, it connects to the pc. And no, I didn't bother to read the directions. LOL That's what I have you guys for, to tell me how to do it.

                    The instructions say "if you can't figure out how to hook it to your PC, throw it away. Your dumb ass would probably still get lost even with updated maps."
