Yes, I'll divulge you 1 inch deeper into the secret life of Angryoldman. I have always been a jewelry fanatic. I guess it's my Italian heritage. When I get older and retire from banking, I will own a jewelry store. As for now, I am taking baby steps into the jewelry business. Not gold chains or anything. Just precious and semi precious stones. I have been buying loose gemstones and am woking with someone to set them in rings for me.
So far, I have 6 orders for Christmas time!!! I will post pictures of some of my works as they become available.
NOW, if anyone is looking to get their wife, husband, gay lover, or mistress a nice Christmas present, I can hook you up. I have blue sapphires, Pink Sapphires, Padparadsha sapphires, Rubies, Tanzanites, etc.... You tell me a price range you want to be in, the stone you're looking for, and I'll send some photo's of different stones to you and see if we can come up with something. I am working on a pair of Diamond and Tanzanite earrings right now. They should appraise for around $4500-$5000. Anything you purcahse will come with an appraisal as well. They will appraise for at least 2X what you pay for it.

Instead of having the overhead of an actual store, why not work out of your home and/internet? There was an older guy here that after retiring from the RR did this very thing and made a bundle! He also designed his own stuff and shopped it around some mom and pop stores.

I can! And if you don't want to spend that much, we can do a Moisannite, or a white sapphire, or a white zircon. Hell, to a woman, if it's clear and shiny, they assume it's a diamond. A white sapphire or a white zircon in a cheerio, I can hook you up for about $35
