    We got a Blizzard!

    So far we've recieved 10-12 inches of snow (in my immediate area) since 4:00 AM and it's only 8:30 right now. It's still coming down like crazy, you can't even see because the snow is coming down so hard. On top of that, there are a bunch of idiots who are stranded on the roads. The news told everyone on every station last night 'do not go out' and yet they did anyways. Now, the military is probably going to have to send out rescue groups to get these stranded people home. What part of 'do not go out' don't people understand? They knew we were going to get this and yet people still went out. We had a blizzard here several years ago and people did the same thing and a lot of people died in their cars because the snow came so quick that rescue vehicles couldn't see the cars. And for what, because they 'had' to work. Screw that, any job that wouldn't understand you can't make it isn't worth having.

    I'll try to get some photos of it for you guys. If I can get my snow boots on, I'll go stand in it so you can see how deep it is. I don't know though because I just got my boot off from my Achilles surgery.

          Wow ! im excited now. yeah, people just ask for it. same thing with flooded roads and stuff. just dumbs#it flatlanders for ya...

            So far, it's offically 13 inches and snow drifts up to 4 feet. It's the snow drifts that get you, not the snow. People can't tell where the road ends and stuff and then theyend up in a ditch and the car gets covered.

            I can't make a snowman yet. The snow is so dry here that you have to wait until it gets a little wetter or it won't stick together. You can't make snowballs either. It's great for the skiers though because it's so soft.

                Fresh snow equal freash clean water! Unlike the rest of the country. LOL

                Colorado sells water to 15 states and the rest of them re-use their water. That's a pleasant thought. The same water you poop in is the same water you drink down the road. Not here baby, out water comes straight off the mountain and from the run off resevoirs.

                  mmmmmmmmm, shit water....... good stuff. Ya know it kinda tastes like peanuts from time to time, other times popcorn kernels float in the glass.
