And all this bad acne i have is FOLLICULITIS...caused from a staph infection. Basically an infestion of the hair follicle I wonder if i injected into a follicle or something....A strong dose of antibiotics and a topical lotion should clear this up in a week or 2. Anyone else ever diagnosed with this?

I believe you can also get that from sweating alot. What happens is, lets say you are doing heavy cardio and you do it first b4 you workout, then it take you another hr or 1-2hrs of training, then you go home and take a shower. In that time the sweat is in your pours and can produce a bacteria that can cause this. It is easily cured tho usually with just a topical prescription cream, but i guess sometimes it may require an anti-biotic. Were they like little white bumps that itch or are irritated?Comment

Yeah, I googled it and that is pretty much what I got from a few sites. It said that you could even get it from shaving, where the staph will get into a follicle on your face or neck. Staph is some serious shiot I thought. Its good though that some lotion and antibiotics are all it will take to clear it up. What kind of anti-biotics did they give you???

there are diffrent kinds...mine is a bad one, where the infection is DEEP in the follicle, and it looks just like Cyst acne...but it will finnally burst/pop, then it crusts over and just gets worse...i look like phuqing hell, and they hurt.
oral antibiotic- dicloxacillin 500 mg 3 times day

I had that a couple of years ago. I was building some cabinets and sliced my arm on a board then a few days later I started getting little bumps all over my arms. It looked really weird, but after the antibiotics and prednisone I was good as new.Comment
