  • for you computer guys...

is there anyway to set some kind of time that a password screensaver, or block comes on your computer? like if you wanted to set it to turn the skreen off from 10pm to 7am and you would need a password to get past it.....

Yes, i believe there is, but ive never used it. In Control Pannel click on Power Options, i believe you can set it up in there.

Does any of them say Energy Saving or something along those lines, lol? I have Win XP, so its been awhile since ive used the earlier versions. It has to be under your Control Pannel thou if you have it, i would think.

Minimize all of your windows except for this one of course! Right click on your desktop, click properties then click the screensaver tab. Next you can select your screensaver and set the time to wait to whatever time you want. Next to it is a little check box that says "On resume, password protect." Click it. Now if you want to set up a time to have your monitor shut off, then click on the button that says "Power" which is on the lower right corner. Go tho the "turn off monitor" pull down menu and pick the time you want. Click apply and then click ok and voila!!!
