Airline tickets online?

Who is good? Orbitz? Cheap tickets? Never used one of those places before, so I need some advice.

Yeah I usually go with southwest directly too. But another thing you can do is go to priceline.com .

I used priceline for my car rentals, and hotel rentals. They saved me a bunch. Basically go to other sites and see what the going rate is. Then you go to priceline and name your price and what star hotel, or what size car you need. Then you put what price you are willing to pay. You have to put your credit card info in first. They then run it across all of the major chains/companies and whomever accepts your offer is where you stay/rent. If noone accepts your price you have to drop to a lower star hotel/smaller size car and try a different price.

I stayed on the beach in ft.lauderdale (non-peak season) for $50.00 a night at the Marriot. I rented a full size from hertz for $120.00 for the week. Unbelievable deals. Everyone else was charging double. So that's why I love the name your price thing. You can tell them what your willing to pay!

BTW, they also do flights which is why I mentioned it. I've never used them for that yet.

If you want a ticket/hotel package I found the best prices on Travelocity. Orbitz isn't as cheap as advertised, but I guess it depends on where you are going.

I fly alot.....heres what you do. Got to expedia, orbitz , or ather .com, and see which airlinesare the cheapest that are flying out of your airport....then go to the Airline direct and purchase. The price is usually the same or within a few dollars....the reason to do this is, if you need to cancel or change, it is alot cheaper, and easier when dealing direct with Airlines......some orbitz tickets cannot be canceled or changed, and the ones that can have a big surcharge

i use expedia or travelocity.

i can't believe southwest would be anybodies first choice. it's like a cattle call. no assigned seat, first come first serve, which is a problem if you have a late connector flight....MOOOOOOO!

Expedia and hotwire are good ones. Hotwire is an affiliate of Expedias, I always check both. Southwest is the best usually if you are going somewhere that they fly to.
