I have a partial thickness tear in my rotator cuff which I told you guys about a while back. Well I was doing a light set of bench and finished tearing the whole thing. I went to the doctor today and surgery is set for the 26th of Sept. What sucks is I am going to lose all the size I just put on and will have to start right back over.

Re: Finally Did It!!!
Mine's completely torn, was supposed to have surgery like 3 years ago on it but I put it off. Doesnt really bother me that much anymore but you can see the dent behind my shoulder where it was. One of these days I'll get it fixed.
Sorry to hear it bro, I know the pain all to well. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Re: Finally Did It!!!
My ROM is fine too, however when I hold my arm straight out in front of me, I have absolutely no strength. I believe this is due to the cantilever action that the shoulder has, and if there is a tear than you no longer have any support.

Re: Finally Did It!!!
Welcome to the family! I hit a all time high of 250 pounds in body weight when I tore my achilles. What do you think I will weigh when I can train it again? Well, at least I can still train upper body but most my size is in my legs so I will lose a lot, I'm sure. My calf is already starting to atrophy from being immobilized.
