Hard Night

So my X wife of 6 months was intown last night.

we met up for drinks and it was so awkward. I had to wear sunglasses because tears were rolling down my face. It was so obvious we wanted eachother. We couldnt keep our hands off eachother.

she only set aside 1.5 hours for me, then i had to drop her off so she could go out for the night. she didnt want to stay with me too long because it was obvious where it would go if we kept drinking together.

Wow! it sucked so bad, but it was so good to see her and touch her again.

we are just too different... we clashed on everything... money, cleaning, how i hung the toilet paper.... it just became obvious it probably wasnt gonna work. she was a total ***** to me a lot of the time. X wife has a lot of issues. I have a few too. I hated her family.

Us splitting up was probably the best thing that could happen, but we never stopped loving eachother... it just wasnt gonna work. there is no going back now!

thats actually not true... it sucked, but im glad i met her. it made me stop hating her. i realized she still loved me a lot.

i just had lunch with her.. adn then sat in the airport with her for 2 hours.

it was like we were back home on the couch together watching TV on a tuesday night. she had her head on my shoulder and i was rubbing her neck... it felt all too familure. Im glad we got together today because it wasnt emotional like last night.

its all so sad to me.

I would have never met up with here at all. Nothing good was going to come from it.

I guess I just don't understand why you would want to even go through those emotions if you don't have to.
I suppose it would be good to not hate her and go on feeling better as far as that goes.
It also seems that it would be harder to go knowing she stills loves you.??

because we never fell out of love... she just realized we were not going to work.. and she ran out on me 3 days before Xmas. there was never any closure. it was up and gone , like a fart in the wind!

I miss her and love her.... things got ugly between us during the divorce and i didnt want that to be how it ended.

it was so obvious we totally wanted eachother.... it could have easily ended up with us in bed... but for the better it didnt.

Could it be that maybe she or the both of you were just too young?, or maybe she needed to sew her oats? I mean like maybe she wanted to go out with friends, and go out with other guys and maybe you were the stable one? Reason i ask is that i know guys that have gone out with girls and they were the only guy they went out with, then they get married and all of a sudden they feel trapped and want to go out clubbing and meet other ppl, so all of a sudden they split. Sounds funny you saying that she aloted you 1.5 hr, like she has plans that are that important that she can't be with a person she was married to. So she plays all this emotional crap on you, only to split? I wouldn't give her the time of day.
