XBox, PlayStation2 or GameCube?

I can't believe it, but i'm actually lookin into maybe purchasing one of these bad boys.
But I am not completely familiar with them.
Which one do u guys/gurls recommend???
I'm mostly interested in role playing and action games...

Xbox! Splinter Cell and Halo are worth it alone. Then you can get a mod chip and a bigger hard drive and store all your games you (rent download) buy

xbox a much better system i have both xbox and the ps2 and i have not looked at the ps2 since i cot splinter cell and halo on the box

I hate the Xbox controller. The PS2 one is the best controller ever. But if you can get the Xbox S-controller, it's defetively worth it. Xbox has better graphics, better sound and ...... BETTER GAMES. Splinter Cell is the best console game ever. Splinter Cell alone worth more than anything the PS2 could bring. I've played with both since I want to buy one. I played more PS2 and I was not impressed at all. The graphics are a notch above the PS1 but two notch beind the Xbox. Online games are awesome with the Xbox. Coming up games are the same or better for the Xbox. Xbox is better by far.
