I don't remember all of the details but the investigators were pointing to things about the note left, splinters or bristles from the mothers paint brushes, their actions, etc... It's been so long since I read about it but there were basically two theories out there. yeah I went for the brother theory...I could easily see that happening with the parents trying to scramble to cover it up...but we'll probably never know with the evidence not being handled properly, the case being so old, and the mother now having passed away...Comment

John Mark Karr has claimed responsibility saying it was an accident and that he loved her. I'm just not buying it, he may very well be telling the truth but I don't believe it.Comment

They are going to attempt to match the dna sample that was found at the scene with his, if they match he'll be charged with first degree murder and kidnapping.Comment

I don't think it was the mother at all. I think it was the brother, there is something funny about how they never talked about him, and i can see parents trying to cover up a pandora's box of what the theories would be behind why a brother would do such a thing.Comment
