I sort of feel sorry for the guy, but at 70 years old, he definitely should know better. Plus the fact that he willingly added her onto his account and then repeatedly lied and said it was his niece, shows that he knew what was going on wasn't right. karma is a biatch though!!!!

Welp, she did it. After depleting $145,000 of this mans money, she took off as expected. After me, my assistant, and several other people of warning him, he still got ripped off. She took off over a week ago, and she can't be found. The state police are now involved. Today was my day off. But I went to the mans house to talk to him and make sure he was OK. I offered him a reverse mortgage to get rid of his home equity loan, and he can still get an additional $60,000 equity out of the house. I told him that once he gets this money, and she tries comes back around, to call me so me and some pipe weilding mother phuquers can come pay her a visit. I'd never hit a woman. the reverse mortgage would allow him to stay in the home, and make the payments for him.. it will at least keep him from having to start eating cat food..

Absolutely. Right now, he makes an income of $2000 a month. He got the Home Equity with the understanding that his "girlfriend" was goig to help him make payments. Obviously, she didn't. So now, he has an $800 a month loan to pay, which leaves him $1200 a month for bills, groceries, medication, etc.... So with the reverse mortgage, if I can give him $160,000, he will take $100,000 right off the top and pau off the loan. Now, he has $60,000 additional, plus his whole $2000 a month back where he doesn't have the worry about a loan payment.

Sad but true! I bust my ass to be an honest person in my job (real estate appraisals) and these no integrity, no honor, no self-respect mother phukers are eating like kings because they will stretch value all the time. While some months I have to dip into my savings just to pay the bills. What gets me the most is, these sons-of-*****es around here will put people in over their head with their stretched appraisals and still sleep at night. Yet, I do the right thing and can't seem to come anywhere near to the level of business they get. But, on the flip side, I can sleep at night and I don't have to worry about the state taking my license from me.
