Problem with repping

Since "we" decided to not throw rep points around like they meant nothing i'm having a problem repping people that deserve it. Lets face it, there are only a handful of daily posters and, well, that group will be the most repped group. Thats just the way it works.

SO,when i feel the need to rep an individual i can't bc i need to spread it around first. This may sound stupid but it makes me give people reps in the fashion we are trying to avoid, just to get back to the person i wanted/deserved it.

Maybe i'm just being moody, i don't know....BUT, this pretty much defeats the purpose of what we are trying to achieve imo....


any thoughts?

Dude, I ran into this EXACT problem yesterday..

Two separate times, I couldn`t rep the person I wanted to because I had to "spread it around".

lets just get rid of them. we got guys that have made 20 posts in the general forum and have 200 rep points...pretty senseless if you ask me

I say leave rep points but allow freedom from the rep provider, it makes sence that someone who consistantly gives good advice would be consisistantly recieving reps from other members.

i agree. there are guys who contribute with informative helpful posts and replys and have earned the rep but a number below your name has nothing to do with how knowledgable you are or how much you contribute to the board when it is slung around just to boost numbers.

not flaming any bro or bro"ette" on the board i just think it is not being used for what it is designed

how about take all rep out of the gen chat and make it for guys who post and reply good stuff in the AAS, training, diet and supp forums?
