I hate it when newscasters refer to 9/11 as "Peral Harbor"
Or the WTC area as "Ground Zero"

Don`t flame me - hear me out.

Peral Harbor was a clear act of war from one nation to another (every plane had a big red dot on the side, the bombs had "Made in Japan" written on them, etc) while 9/11　as terrible as it was, was a terrorist act.

Also, "Ground Zero" is a technical term denoting the precise detonation point of a Nuclear Explosive Device, the damage was terrible but hardly nuclear.

I agree with that from a different perspective. Ground Zero weight equipment had to change their name to Free Motion because of 9/11. The owner and inventor, Roy (can't think of his last name) lives in my city and was a member of one of my gyms. This guy had to change his in entire company name because the referred to 9/11 as Ground Zero. And, the worse part was he had that name trademarked way before 9/11 took place. So, yeah, I hate the term Ground Zero also.

Words that are paradoxical, like supernatural. Just for sake of arguement, if a god entity existed, he woud be natural, not supernatural. The very fact of saying he is supernatural, is implying he doesn't exist. I think this is why man is sometimes percieved as an enemy to nature. Most men (male and female) think men are above nature (supernatural) and not of it, so if were above nature we can destroy nature. When in reality nature could give a shit what we do because we are of nature and nature keeps on keepin on despite whether man kind exists or not.

Oh and "Palestinian"! What is a Palestinian? Arab palestinians already have a state, it's called Jordan. Jewish palestinians have a state, it's called Israel. Why do some Arab palestinians want another state? They don't! They want the demise of Israel.

I've always had the opposite problem. people say "you should work out and gain some weight". I tell them I do workout, and I've gained nearly 70 lbs! They don't know what to say then. I tell them they should try to get taller. Atleast one of us can attain our goal!

Kite, I love you bro. You hit the nail on the head. I get that in Japan all the time only it`s even worse because most people don`t know ANYTHING about training.

They`ll say to me "Do you....(hands moving in a vaugely bench press motion)"
And that`s it. I usually say "Yeah and sometimes I... (hands moving in a vaguely military press motion)"

They ask me how I gained weight, is it from that new protein that you can drink? "Yeah, that and food - lots of food."
