Yesterday was about the worst day i've had in a looooooong time, and then to cap it off I got in a big fight with my GF afterwards, so today I'm taking a day off from everything and everyone. I love being in a relationship, but sometimes the emotional toll that it brings can be a freakin nightmare.

That's murphy's law goose! Everytime you have a horrible day plan on getting in a fight with your girlfriend/wife! It never fails. Even when you tell them it's the worst day you've had in a long time they'll still persist to somehow get in some form of argument! I never understand that thought process?!!

So far all I've done today is "nothing" at all. Havent talked to my GF yet today, kindof questioning where it might be going now. Oh well, if I stay with her I have a fine girl, if I breakup with her I'll just find me another fine girl.

Well, it's like my dad told me a long time ago. "When it comes to relationships you must remember the three C's. Communication, Compassion and Compromise!" If you are communicating your bad day she won't take things personally. If you are Compassionate to her getting upset by the tone you take with her because of your bad day, you will recognize it before it goes too far. If you compromise having a good time with your girl by letting your bad day take over, then she will become the one who suffers for no reason.
This is something I struggle with ALL THE TIME! I always take my bad days out on my wife and then she will ask me "what happened today that was so bad I have to get in trouble for it?" I will immediately realize what I'm doing, laugh, and appologize for taking it out on her. I have a very rough around the edges personality at times and I always take it out on those closest to me. I got all over my best friends case for being 10 minutes late one day becaue I was in a bad mood. Now, he knows me so he doesn't say anything and it doesn't take long before I'm appologizing to him too. I do that crap all the time when I'm not having a good day. You just to catch before it gets out of hand.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

Political debates are just that...... debates. Part of debating is knowing that when all is said and done you should be able to sit down with those you oppose, have a beer, and forget about our differences.
