I know alot of people have a problem with the stoppage of the Ortiz/ Shamrock fight buit i dont. I do see where they could have let it go for another second or two but no longer. Shamrock would have just eaten 2-3 more of those heavy elbows as he wasnt defending himself at all. Personally i think it was the right call to stop it when they did, who knows what a couple more of those elbows would have done to him.


The Arlovski- Silvia fight was complete garbage! I still have no idea what Arlovski was thinking in rounds 2-5. His punches were ineffective and he was getting hammered on when trying to land them. Not once did he try to take Silvia down, that is pathetic. He had to know he was behind on points and he has to know that the close rounds go to the champ and he did nothing to change his failing plan. I just don't get it. he's lost his edge and his intensity and it wouldn't suprise me if we never see him again...

I guess when it boils down to is we saw an amatuer fight between two champions. Pretty disgusting if you ask me.
