What do you think all of these bible thumping Republicans are doing?? They try to run this country in accordance with their own personal religon.
It's a proven fact the the entire constitution was based on Christian priciples. Therefore, guidelines that are similar to Christianity are in fact constitutional. John Adams clearly stated that this country's constitution was founded on Christian priciples. These are facts bro. Our forefathers were in fact Christians and our country was built by them and our constitution was designed by them. So, you either have to change the constitution or deal with it. The liberals are using 'seperation of church and state' out of context. Look it up for yourself, you will see that the version of this used by liberals is in no way the same as it's written in the constitution.

ITs hypocritical to explain freedom of speech then silence people who exercise their rights. This country is so backwards and ****ed up. People are way to sensitive.

First off they moved to america for freedom of religion not let's start a continent that will only allow people that believe what we believe. So regardless of what they were it wasn't their intention to force their beliefs on others. Again look up the word freedom and it will verify that. Also many of those that signed our constitution were slaveowners. Are you saying that slavery is ok because that was acceptable at those times? Or is it that since times have changed so have the laws.

You may remember some time back when religion was taken out of schools, a liberal did that. You may remember the censorship of rock music. That was headed by Tipper Gore. You got it, a liberal. Liberals are at fault for starting the censorship of stuff. Period. It started with church in schools a long time ago, then progressed to music and now a child can't even say 'Christ' even though they proved to be smartest child graduating in that class.

I'm sorry you disagree, but it's proven fact that liberals censor more stuff than consrvatives. Sure, we don't want certain things on TV for the sake of our children. Where as the liberal wants to censor anything they don't agree with. I guess, when you look at it like that, they are the same. Liberals want to censor religion and conservatives want to sensor profanity. However, and here's the difference, if it's illegal for a child under a certain age to watch certain rated movies don't you think it's common sense that TV should not allow that kind of language during a time in which a child could be watching? Where as the intentional censoring of religion seems to be out of personal spite. Who exactly gets offended by the word 'Christ'? I have several Jewish friends and if we have them over for dinner and I say grace they don't get offended. And when we go to their house for dinner and if they do or don't say a prayer, I don't get offended. They absolutely do not view Christ the same as me but we never censor one another because we respect the difference. When one of these liberals censors religion they do it out of spite. They do it for their own personal wants. They don't have the right to say who will and who wont get offended.

You say you don't agree with what happened to that kid, well, do you feel that religion should be banned from TV and Radio? Because some of the liberal politicians you support do. What does that say? To me, that says you support people who do other than you believe in. And trust me, there are democrats that are currently working to try and get that done.
          .
One of the most annoying things is how people are always using kids as an excuse to ban stuff. First off it's not my problem that John or Jane Doe can't control their kid and monitor what they are watching. I shouldn't have my rights to watch a show taken away because some woman didn't know how to close her legs or some guy didn't know when to pull out. I'm tired of everything revolving around the kids. That's great people have kids but many of us don't. I really don't give a shiitt what's good for kids or not. I watched many things that would be deemed as wrong when I was a kid including playboy when I was like 8. I didn't turn into a male ***** that slept with everyone, I didn't go out and become a criminal or anything. Education taught me what was right and wrong and I learend how to make my own decisions. I'm so sick of hearing kids shouldn't hear or see that. Whatever. Everyone I know watched the same shiittt and the majority of them turned out well. In fact it is the ones that you try to shelter and isolate that become the real problems in society. It's called rebelling and most kids that are supressed rebel more from authority as they get older. So the whole censoring crap is not a positive thing for kids in anyway!

As for religon I think they shouldn't ban that from TV. Actually on the contrary where I grew up there was nothing but church shows on sundays on tv. Sucked for me as a kid. All I wanted to see was cartoons. But I don't see anything wrong with that.

I agree that some liberals (as I did mention hillary) do believe in censorship but so do a lot of republicans so I guess we'll both have to agree that both of our parties are phucked up in their own way.

              djdiggler,

Look bro, we can go back and forth all day but here's the facts.

If conservatives censor stuff you don't want censored then to you, they are the problem. If liberals censor stuff I don't want censored then to me, they are the problem. We are two guys stuck in the same place, we just happen to be opposites.

Again we agree! That's why I refuse to vote either Democrat or Republican. I do lean waaay more towards being a Democrat but I don't see eye to eye with some of the garbage they come up with.

                But again we agree.

Same here, republicans do stuff that piss me off too, but I lean more their direction so that's who I support. LOL
