            The messages you received are nothing short of pure, unadulterated HOAXES. According to Symantec, the makers of Norton Anti-Virus, these threats do not exist.

            Any threat that claims to "destroy sector zero" of a hard drive is nothing short of a hoax - these types of hoaxes prey on a common misconception about viruses - contrary to what many believe, it is physically impossible for a virus to directly cause any damage to a piece of hardware - the only damage that a virus can do is to data contained in a piece of hardware.
