  • Brutal crash on 55

I was headed up into chicago tonight around 11 on 55. At milemarker 257 right after the on ramp by Gander Mountain traffic came to a stop. After about 20min of moving 5ft and stopping i came upon the first of the wreckage . A few hundred yards from where the emergency vehicles were you could see where the car hit the rail fiberglass everwhere. A cpl hundred yards up on the other side it punched a hole in the guard rail about the size of the front end of the car. About 50 yards from there on the other side of the road it hit the rail again and came to a stop. It looked like a debry field from plane crash there was shit scattered everywhere. He had to have been flying to loose it on that slight of a curve ,scatter his car into that many pieces over that much distance and hitting the rails hard enuf to knock part of it down and keep going.

When i got up to the car it was a new gold Mustang all kitted out 20 in after market racing wheels the whole 9 yrds. You could even see the Paxton hanging off the exposed engine. Two other cars looking about the same parked not far from it people in them on their phones crying. The car didnt even look like a car anymore it looked like it had already been in a compactor the way it was smashed. It looked like it had rolled as well played pinball with the rails. You could see where 2 heads at hit the windshield from the inside glass was all stained red. Two ambulances were there but neither was goin anywhere i wonder if they were waiting for the ME to pronounce them dead. I was gonna snap a pic then thought better of it when i realized they were probably dead.

Kinda curious if theres anything about it on the news up in that area.

Sucks!!!! People need to learn to becareful! I hate seeing innocent people die. That's why I drive fast only when there is no one else on the road and I don't have a passenger.
    NO PAIN, NO GAIN
    KNOW PAIN, KNOW GAIN

That's scary, I saw a bad wreck on the way back from the beach this weekend.

Every Spring this happens. Kids think they are always in control, and take too many risks. It breaks my heart to think about the mothers and fathers and brothers and sisters they leave behind to mourn their loss. Even worse when they kill someone else . . . very sad.

Thing is, teens will never learn from previous generations. They always think that they've got it covered and nothing will happen to them.
