Byron.i used to be a car saleman and any car above 100000 miles on it, goes to auction.....
especially american car, above 75000, its dead comparing to any honda or toyota..
even though i love vets, cobras and TA's

So true. However, I must confess, I had a Jeep Cherokee that I put over 200k miles on and the engine and tranny were still running great when I sold it. Of course, I had to replace just about everything else on it. Fuel pumps, vacuum system, suspension (front and rear), alternator, ignition, starter, etc. All the little stuff had to be replaced numerous times. Of course, I'd rather replace little things than an engine or tranny. On the flip side, I also had an Acura Integra that had over 200k on it and it never had problems, ever! Besides things like the battery, tires, brakes, alternator and other things that wear out, nothing expensive ever broke on that car. Great car.

Yeah, I just looked up similar age ones in my area and they are going in the 20's but they all have between 40,000 and 65,000 miles. The mileage is going to scaremost people away for only being 4 years old.

I hear your pain Byron! I tried to trade in my 04 Silverado with 28,000 miles and they wanted to give me $11,900 when it was $27,000 brand new!! I've got 20's on it, escalade rims, dual exhaust, and a few other things. I owe $17,100 on it so they expected me to take a $5,200 loss not including the extra $4000 in mods!! Funny part is they expect to rape me like that and then turn around and sell it for more than I owe on it! Dealers are scumbags! No better than drug dealers!!!

Car dealers are some of the sleeziest people on the planet. Not all of them, but most of them. I would say they are worse than drug dealers, at least with a drug dealer you pay usually can expect to get what you pay for.
