my take on the fights

matt hughes is the man he destroyed gracie completely, gracie had not one bit of offense during the short fight. hughes put gracie into a kimura, after taking gracies back, which appeared to damage gracie's elbow but he didnt tap. seeing that extreme pain wouldnt do matt began to pound gracie who was face down in survival mode. big john stopped the fight. gracie was messed up after matt's pinches were heavy there was no chance for gracie he just wasnt strong enough or well rounded enough to even make it a fight. i really wished him better. (oh yeah, i did tell ya so i have a nice avi picked out for my victims)

silva was the much bigger man but faultered under vera's stand up assault and finally succumed to a triangle. vera will be a force to be recconed with in the LHWs if he drops to 205

mike swick from TUF 1 beat joe riggs with a guillotine choke.

diego sanchez also from TUF 1 got a decision over John Alessio after riding him about in the 3rd round like a horse it was bizzare and entertaining in what was actually a boring fight

Melvin Guillard knocked "the phuck" out of rick davis, the surround sound was turned way up and it sounded like a somone hit a raw roast with a bat when his fist hit rick's jaw. he was out cold and landed face first on the floor

spencer Fisher and Matt Wiman was a great fight. first round i thought wiman may pull it out against the talented fisher but was KO'd in the second with a flying knee after being stupid and letting his guard down to tell fisher the punch that just hit him didnt hurt.

You forgot to mention the Dean Lister vs. Alessio Sakara fight. Lister won by submission. I forgot what the lock is called!

hahahaha! Phuque Gracie. He WAS a bad ass fighter at one time. But for some reason, every sport has a person that holds on to the glory was past his/her prime. The sport has evolved way to much for Gracie's style. There's no more 20 minute "Sit on the ground" matches like the Gracies have mastered.

Yeah saw the fight Hughes dominated the match and was in control the whole time . It looked like Gracies arm was gonna snap I couldnt believe he didnt submit he's got double jointed or something well I give him props for not submitting but I think his turn is done !He should retire and not mess up his great career he said at the end that he still has a few more in him .I would like to see Hughes vs. Franklin even though not same weight class

i think he has a 3 fight contract he must completeso he may be put up against some B level guys just for the show

franklin vs hughes will never happen because they are friends. but it was talked about after TUF2
