Re: Check this out!
ARm pump was the killer for me when i raced. It would get so bad i would start cramping and u couldnt really tell what if your hands were doing what the brain told them to do (clutch brake)
My brother and i both raced i never made it past 250 B he made A class. I have more aches and pains then i care to mention from all the broken bones. I am better off then my brother though he had both legs broke at one time then again seperately. He went down when he got tied up in the whoops and a kid landed on his legs. Collar bone, pelvis, shoulder seperations dislocations, ankles and to many fingers to count. If you werent pushing hard and riding on the edge you didnt need to be wasting space on the starting gate. The ***** is when u went beyond your abilities or track conditions and went down.
I brought a race prepped CR 80 home awhile back for my oldest son so we could trail ride. Motor was done, suspension reworked, piped it was sweeeet. My wife made me get rid of it. To make a long story short after the blow out i saw things her way ( a little). We would have ended up on the track and he would have ended up hurt. He didnt need to spend his teen years in a series of casts and slings like i did.
