Want to relocate, help me out.

I moved to the city Im in now to manage a bar. I've bartended for about 3 years and love it. Problem is this city sucks, I mean really sucks. I used to live in Austin and that was good but I lived there all my life and want to go somewhere different. Im thinking (and dont laugh) somewhere tropical like out of the US, a tourist, vacation spot whatever you call it. I would love to be in a safe envoirment in a tropical place where I could bartend at night and go like surfing or sit on the beach all day. Not to mention the girls vacationing that I could show around. Anywhere like that? Im being serious and have nothing to lose.

I have been to Aruba several times. It is a beautiful island, beach is supreme, hotels are fantastic, and you will have no prob finding very pretty ladies. This thing with the Halloway girl is doing no justice and is unfair to the island. It is very, very safe.

Yeah, Holloway is def. hurting the tourism there. I think that whole situation was just the wrong place at the wrong time. Anywhere you go esp. in other countries crime will still happen..

Try Grand Cayman man! That is by far my favorite I've been to yet! The water was absolutely amazing. It was so blue it was almost purple! It was a british owned island so the euro is their form of money. Lots of cruises hit there so there would be a lot of business from them.

Damn sounds like an adventure ! Im moving towards the west probably near winter .Gotta check out the scene tired of MD .Yeah I heard Greece throws one of the best party scene sounds like fun .Actually Texas was one of my choices others were Cali and Florida

All these places sound and look great but what about finding a job there? I mean I would bascially sell all my stuff and fly there with a wad of cash looking for a job.

Well I'll have some money after we sell our liquior bussiness we'll split 4 ways so I'll just probably look for one when I get there just to get on my feet and when I settle down I'll look elsewhere .Im going to move to explore travel many places and meet new people I was involved with negative people around here and just want to get away and start over .Not to mention I dont mind the warm weather !

All my ideas are already taken! LOL, I agree with the suggestions of Aruba and Grand Cayman. I've hear that Aruba is one of the safest places in the Carribean, despite the high profile murder case. And Grand Cayman is amazing. I have been there a few times and I am always blown away by its beauty. I might be concerned about living in the "off season" though. And the cruise ship is a good idea. People go on cruises all year long I believe.

Cruise boat sounds good. There are plenty of nice islands in the caribbean. If you speak french you could try, Martinique, Guadeloupe or St. Martin. Very nice islands!
