        Re: MRI...

Well, I had my MRI today. I was forewarned about the "GIANT" phucking needle that they were going to jam into my shoulder to inject the dye so I was well prepared. Much larger than a 1 1/2 inch... LOL. Nearly pissed myself but was able to use my other hand and squeeze my pee pee tight - in order to avoid any accident... LOL...

The doctor injected the dye into my shoulder and it was pretty neat because I could see the dye in the shoulder x-ray. 5cc of one solution and then 15cc of another - 20cc is a lot of liquid to inject into one area. Felt like my shoulder had peanutbutter injected into it - very heavy feeling.

After the injection was over, I had to wait 20 minutes or so for the dye to settle. My arm felt as if it had a weight attached to it. Strange as hell. Then I was off the the MRI room - the damn machine is so phucking tight - I could understand how some people get clastaphobic. I had a hard time staying still because I kept falling asleep in there - even with the intense noise the machine makes... LOL... That took approximately 30 minutes...

I should have my results sometime within the next few days - hopefully. I'll give you all an update once I find out the definitive outcome... thanks for all your support and prayers...

Low budget military medicine... wouldn't surprise me if they shoved me in and there was a bird with a sketch pad and crayon drawing a picture of my shoulder...
