    All 'puter gurus...I need help!

    OK...I am a little slow with hi-tech crap so lets keep it simple please...lol.

    I have a Motorola V710 that I want to transfer some pics off of and onto my pc. I bought a USB cable for it and it came with a driver CD. Is that all I need or do I also need some type of other software along with it??

    The little slip of paper that came with the CD and the cable says to go to some website and download the "proper phone management software." So I am assuming I need some software to actually do the pic transfers.

    I thought all I needed was the CD and the cable.....and I don't want to spend $40 for the damn software they have on that site. Anyone know any places with free phone management software downloads instead of buying the software?????

    HELP!

    you sure the CD u have doesnt have the software? Go to the motorola website, see if they have a freebee somewhere. Check out www.download.com too.

          Can you send the pics from your phone to a photoalbum website? If so then just download them from your photosite and forget the cable and software!!! Or do as O2 suggested and e-mail them to yourself.
