    Re: judas gospel

If you believe the Bible you see today is the same one they cannonize then you don't know the history of the Bible. Also they didn't have all the books to read and pray on before they cannonized the Bible. So you stand corrected. One book left out was the saying of Jesus which all the four gospels quote from. Judas did the job Jesus gave him. Jesus died right on time so all would be forfilled. As for Jesus being a bad boy he was if you believe what the current Bible says. But as God made flesh he could do no wrong if when he didn't obey the law.

Oh and how would men who lived more then hundreds of years after Jesus died know who knew Jesus and when they knew him?

And do you believe that Jesus who was God couldn't write and that's why he didn't write any books and that's why we don't see any books signed by Jesus in the Bible?

Actually, they did have all the books that were in circulation when the Bible used today was put together. I don't know where you get your info, but it's wrong. I even seen a show on a non-Christian station do a 2 hour show on books banned from the Bible and they even proved that ever book in circulation was considered. I don't believe for one second Jesus was a bad boy, how could he be bad and blamless at the same time. That makes no sense what so ever.

Who? Who lived more than hundreds of years after Jesus and claimed they knew Jesus? Give me specific names and specific proof they lived hundreds of years later or specific proof they claimed they knew him personally.

He didn't write because God didn't instruct him to write. Duh. Let me ask you something, lol, what's more believable, a gospel of Jesus written by Jesus or a gospel of Jesus written by men who physically witnessed the things they wrote down? Common sense would say eye witness accounts are more acceptable. I'll give an example. the police show up at your door and ask you where you were on a specific night and you say "I was home alone, but I'm telling you the truth". Now, there are multiple eye witnesses that say they saw you at the crime scene. Who has more credibility, the you or the witnesses? Think about it, the only one who can back your story up is you, where as the eye witnesses all have the same story and gave it at seperate times. Hmmm, it's really a no brainer.

The fact that Jesus didn't commit one single word to the gospel only gives it more credibility, unlike the Mormons or Muslims who put all their belief into a single man with absolutely no eyewitnesses. LOL

The Bible was connonized 350 years after Jesus died. So how would those who connonized the Bible know if Timothy knew Jesus. And in the Bible it said that Jesus disobeyed his parents, eat with sinners without washing his hands. Worked on the sabbath. Hung out with ho's. That's five sins. If you don't know how he could do these sins and be without sin then you need to butt out of this thread. As for the saying of Jesus which where writin as he said them and refered to as the Q document either the connonizers didn't have the book or they left it out. Either way someone was wrong and it wasn't me.

I will not butt out of this thread jack ass! You don't know shit about Christianity and yet you feel you can talk down to me, screw you! Eating with sinners is not a sin you moron, how the hell do you expect to convert a sinner if you don't meet with them. LOL Working on the Sabath was a law for Jews, not a law for Jesus. LMAO Jesus spent time with sinners because God told him to. You should stick to threads that you actually know what the hell you are talking about.

                      Re: judas gospel

To backtrack..The reason many of the Gospels were left out of the Bible was nothing to do with Cardinals etc. It was some Roman govenor back way before that didn't want to have any negative impact against the Romans. I cant remeber the whole story, but it was brought up in the Gospel of Judas that was on National Geographic. I hope they air it again.

Let review Jesus was a Jew working on the sabbath was a sin and eating with sinners was a sin and not washing hands before eating was a sin and hanging out with *****s was a sin and disobeying parents is a sin. These are the facts. It's all in the Bible and yes that's the Bible you have. I know why he could do these things and still be without sin. I'm not talking down to you I'm just writing the facts that are in the Bible. And no God the father didn't tell Jesus to do these things at least thats not in the Bible. Don't flame me for knowing what's in the Bible.
